BizTech Network
The UBC BizTech Network is the official undergraduate club of the Business Technology Management option of the Sauder School of Business at UBC.
The club is a community of resourceful industry professionals, world-class faculty members, and talented students. It aims to promote active interest and awareness of the importance and application of technology from a business perspective.
Tri-Mentorship Program
The MIS Division Tri-Mentorship Program is designed specially for Sauder Undergraduate students registered in the BTM option or BUCS program and for those who intend to complete a second option in BTM. Its main purpose is to provide an opportunity for students to network and connect with experienced professionals in their area of study, as well as senior mentees, to learn more about potential career options and adjust their course plans around their anticipated career path.
As a professional working in tech, this is a chance for you to give back to the tech community and nurture the young future leaders in the business technology field. By being a mentor in the BizTech/MIS Tri-Mentorship program, you will help the next generation of professionals in tech reach their full potential, and contribute to the flourishing of Vancouver’s tech industry.
Applications to be a Professional Mentor for the 2016/2017 Tri-Mentorship program is now closed. If you are interested in becoming a mentor in future years, you may fill out the following form to be contacted in our next year’s program intake.
BizTech/MIS Mentorship Program

BizTech and the Sauder Management Information Systems Division are excited to present the BizTech/MIS Tri-Mentorship Program, UBC's premier mentorship program for students pursuing careers in the area of business and technology.
As a member of this tech-focused mentorship community, expect to build rewarding relationships with other students, network with business professionals in this high-demand industry and gain mentorship from some of the most successful and experienced Business Technology professionals in Vancouver.
Opportunities are available for 20 Senior Mentees and 20 Junior Mentees.
Senior Mentees
Senior Mentees are BTM and BUCS students in year 3 and above who have a passion for business & tech. While Senior Mentees expand their knowledge and skills under senior mentorship, they will also mentor a Junior Mentee student, helping them navigate the collegiate world and grow their academic and career knowledge.
Junior Mentees
Junior Mentees are 1st or 2nd year BCOM or BUCS students who are driven to expand their knowledge of business technology. Junior mentees will build mentorship relationships with accomplished upper year BTM or BUCS students, who will impart advice to help them reach their academic and career goals.
